Burton Brewery Museum – Wednesday 22^nd February 2012

Join NRSB to learn about the social history of the development of brewing and the real life experiences and stories of the people who made Burton-on-Trent’s breweries famous. Experienced guides in period dress take visitors through each step of the brewing process and explain the fascinating roles that the steam engines and vintage vehicles on show played in the development of brewing.

Denby Pottery Centre – Friday 16^th March

Members & Carers - £7;                Non-members - £9

Denby Pottery has been producing some of the finest pottery at its Derbyshire site for over 200 years! NRSB will be visiting Denby’s factory, some of the highlights of the day include; a tour of the factory, lunch in their restaurant and the opportunity to decorate your own Denby pottery plate in the craftroom workshop (plate decorating is optional).

Payment in full is required 1 month in advance of any trip. If you cancel your place with less than 1 weeks’ notice we will not be able to offer a refund

Further information about each trip will be made available to those who reserve a place. Payment is not necessarily required to reserve a place. We can provide assistance from a member of staff or volunteer should you need one.

Transport is usually provided from Nottingham, Mansfield or Worksop. However if there is enough demand from any other area, or if you are a leader of a local VI group and your members wish to join the trip, give us a call and we may be able to arrange a local pick up.
