Several of our trips are specifically for children and their families, giving our younger service users the chance to meet their peers. The service is also open to visually impaired parents and siblings with or without eye conditions.
Recent trips have included popular and well attended outings to the National Space Centre, Alton Towers and the Roald Dahl Museum. The latest trip took a small group to the ThinkTank Musuem in Birmingham. A huge thanks to the Musuem for providing us with a group handling session where we got up-close and personal to a giant turtles shell, a saw ish rostrum (nose), starfish, seahorses and the jaws of a shark!
The Drayton Manor trip has been cancelled and replaced with one to Alton Towers and we have also reduced the prices! This is all thanks to some very generous support from the Merlin’s Magic Wand Charity.
There is something for everyone at Alton Towers. Home to thrill rides, 13, Nemesis, Rita and Oblivion, water rapids, log flumes and runaway mine train, old Macdonald farm and Gallopers Carousel plus much much more, this promises to be an amazing and wonderful adventure. The Park strives to make sure that the Theme Park and other extraordinary attractions are easily accessible to all guests. The park is a great day out and is a must do adventure.
Prices are £10 for non members (children and/or adults) £8 for members and carers, under 4s free!
Transport currently from Mansfield Bus Station at 8.45am and Nottingham Royal Concert Hall at approximately 9.15am. We plan to leave Alton Towers 4.00pm.
