On Thursday 1st October the new NRSB charity shop in Hyson Green opened its doors to the public! The shop was officially opened by Amanda Bowman from BBC Radio Nottingham and Alan Higson, one of the Trustees of NRSB.
As soon as the ribbon was cut and the shop opened to the public, it was filled with customers eager to snap up a bargain and see what was for sale!
The shop is number 58 Gregory Boulevard, next to the Post Office, which is a very busy location and should attract a lot of customers. The new premises in Hyson Green have replaced the Radford shop, which has now closed.
The shop will be open 9am - 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
Donations of clothes, shoes, books and bric-a-brac are welcome at the shop. If you find it easier to get to the offices in Radford you can take your donations there too.
Your donations help to provide much needed funds for the NRSB to carry out its essential services.
